Embassy Software, located at The Dalles, Oregon, provides kiosk software and solutions. Embassy Software is creator of "Show-Tell & WOW!" kiosk software. With Embassy Software's Kiosk Content Services, it is our job to procure and manage the content (computerized slideshows) in the kiosk, making it convenient as possible for the kiosk owner and businesses and organizations submitting content for the kiosk. What is a kiosk? What is the purpose of the kiosk?

A kiosk is an interactive, computerized catalog of slideshows that enables the public to SEE and HEAR the sights and sounds of businesses and organizations! The content you submit is valuable in helping us achieve the goal of providing the most intriguing and entertaining experience possible for visitors and the general public. The kiosk provides a wealth of interesting information that stimulates ideas and patronage of businesses and organizations.

The reason for the kiosk

The kiosk helps to provide the greatest degree of visitor delight possible. With so many computers working for us today, it only makes sense to provide a computer for visitor use. The kiosk system helps convey the message that we are making an extra effort to make the visitors experience as interesting and stimulating as possible.

What is so special about the kiosk managed by Embassy Software?

The kiosk system allows for quick and convenient access (by visitors and other patrons) to hundreds and possibly thousands of selections, each selection being a slideshow consisting of several images with a sound message that plays for each image. People are able to receive audio and visual input at the same time, and are accustomed to visual and verbal media. The kiosk is a practical way to present visual and audio material to visitors and patrons. The unique directory structure allows for easy "white pages" or "yellow pages" lookups. Users of the kiosk will find it to be quite similar to a phone book as they can quickly search by category or name.

Content Submission Options

Embassy Software encourages businesses and organizations to provide image (JPG format) and sound (WAV format) files (via email) when submitting content for the kiosk. You may, however, supply photo negatives and written narratives (by mail). If you furnish written narratives for your images, an Embassy Software content specialist will orate your narrative for use on the kiosk). The gist is to submit a series of images with narratives to accompany each image.

Customer Satisfaction Policy

As manager of the kiosk, Embassy Software offers complete customer satisfaction to businesses and organizations wishing to submit content for the kiosk. We encourage businesses and organizations wishing to submit content for the kiosk to stop by and get acquainted with the kiosk, and pick up some valuable ideas for creating a winning slideshow for your business or organization. If after submitting content for the kiosk, you are dissatisfied, Embassy Software will cheerfully refund fees you paid for placing content on the kiosk (refund amount prorated after the first 30 days).
